Meltdown Lowdown Update – Victoria May 4, 5, 6 and 7
After a very long wait, finally the first good swell of autumn hit the Victorian coast over the weekend. It all started on Friday night. The first pulse was meant to hit a few days earlier, but due to an extremely westerly swell direction, waves didn't reach the Surf coast until Friday arvo. The East Coast and Phillip Island had three to four foot waves a few days earlier. The usual spots like Smiths, EP and Western Port were all fun, although the wind was a bit westerly.
