Long lines of NW swell pushed in with up to 10 wave sets gracing the reefs of Hawaii's famed line-ups. Sunset dished up some solid sets for the late arvo shift with some decent west peaks lining up across the reef. Pipe/backdoor was breaking and showing brief moments of glory between the close-outs. Further down the beach a low key crew were out charging some solid Off The Wall kegs. As per usual for this time of year huge amounts of sand have piled up along the beach from Rockys down to Rock Piles causing back wash at some breaks. Crowds were quite managable through the period with a mostly friendly, local aloha vibe in the water.
