Morning Update...It has fined up but is still looking a lot like Lake Pacific. The SSE swell is only flat to 1ft on the more open beaches. Light NW winds now, that are forecast to go SSW later in the day. The tide is dropping to a low at 12.20pm. It's ripple riding only with a board with lots of volume on the more open beaches later on the dropping tide, with from Peregian to A Bay the only hope.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. He’s been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.

Surfing Mums meet here!
Surfing mums is a network of women who surf and are mums (of course), but what sets them apart is that they still want to surf as much as we did before they had kids. Its not about how well you surf, or if you are a long boarder, short boarder, bodyboarder, body surfer or learning to surf. It's about getting wet and having fun!
