The almost dead flat spell continues with most of the SSE swell missing the coast and tracking past offshore, it is only in the half to 1ft range. Conditions are clean with light SW winds early that are forecast to go SSW later. The tide is high early dropping to a low at 10.50am, then coming back into a high at 5.30pm. It's ripple riding again today with the Tweed Coast, D'bah, the far N end beachies and TOS picking up a bit more of the S swell. Take a board with lots of foam.

The NSW lifesaving patrol season ended on Sunday 28 April, however Salt Resort main beach is still patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week. Byron Main Beach will be patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week until 9 June, 2013.
Please do not take any risks during the off-season period. No Flags = No Swim! The majority of beach patrols will again commence on the first day of the September School Holidays.
