It's still looking a lot like a lake this morning with tiny, clean conditions. The SSE swell is only flat to 1ft. Light WSW winds early that are forecast to be offshore from the SW all day. The tide is dropping to a low just sfter 10am, coming to a high at 4.30pm. It's ripple riding only with a board with lots of volume and a good imagination on the more open beaches, from Peregian to A Bay the pick.
John Charlton spreads his time between the Gold & Sunshine Coasts. Heβs been surfing this area for many a year and is totally in tune with all the different breaks and how the varying swell and wind patterns affect this wave plentiful region.
